INTRODUCTION TO GICLÈE PRINTING
The giclee process is one of science and of art combined. This is by far the most precise method of fine art reproduction. With the perfect combination of fine art paper and pigmented inks, it is unsurpassed in color brilliance, depth and detail. While artist like yourself are becoming more aware and educated with the
process of giclee printing their are those of you that are new to the method. The term Giclee is French, which translates to "spray of ink", which is what our printer was specifically designed to accomplish. Our process offers a color gamut unreachable in the past and the museum quality that makes our prints collectable.
Our own work can be found in the Phoenix Art Museum and The Historical Society Museum in Florence, Arizona.

MORE ABOUT GICLEE PRINTING
HOW WE CAPTURE YOUR IMAGE
From the beginning to the end, each piece of artwork is handled with white gloves. Great care and attention is always given to your artwork. Each print first begins with a good scan. Our direct scanning equipment captures all of the subtleties of the artwork, each brush stroke, textures and deep shadow detail. With our ability to scan up to 40 inches wide, your prints are only one generation away from the original. Our ability to also scan
slides, transparencies, and negatives keeps us producing exceptional giclee prints. Items that are not suited for the scanning process are captured by extremely high end digital photography keeping iiMAGÈ on the leading edge.
Art that is created in pastel, pencil, water color, photographic, digital art and even 3D art, are prime candidates for the giclee process of reproduction.
Following the capture of your image, we begin the proofing process. At his time you are able to sit with us and see what will be printed on the media of your choice. Upon your approval of the proof, the final print is produced. The print is then inspected and made ready for finishing according to your specifications.
